Guidelines for Organizations

Thank you for choosing to support Blue Star Moms. It's thoughtful people like you that make it possible for us to send care packages to our brave troops. If you would like to coordinate a donation drive, please review the below guidelines to help with your success.

• Contact our care package chairmom before you start your project to discuss current needs.

• Use the donation lists above when selecting items to donate.  

• Food items must be in UNOPENED boxes and packages. 

• Donations are gladly accepted all year long. Our care packages are made with donations from our generous community.  

• We prefer to receive all items unopened in the original package and simply delivered in bags or boxes.

• If you will be packing your own boxes, we ask that you leave the top of the box opened. You will also need to provide the postage. We can extend our shipping discount to you. We will also tape the boxes closed and provide the mailing labels. You will only need to deliver the packed and opened boxes to us along with a check written to Blue Star Moms for the indicated amount of postage.

• We are happy to provide a receipt for tax purposes. We will need a personal, organization or company name, a mailing address, and approximate value of the items donated.
